Alti sospir che m'uscite dal petto,
Andate à la gran Madre, e Vergin pia,
Gridando aita al duol de st'alma mia.

Tanto gran mal', ond'io m'affliggo, e stempro,
Nascer non può fuor che da un vano amore
Di ben creato, à cui s'affigge il core.

Indi ne vien l'esser perverso, e rio:
Drizza Tu Donna i vaghi affetti storti,
E trammi stella al Sol, ch'in grembo porti.
