Description: This setting, for a change, is in a modern language - Italian. It will be evident, however, even to a dyed in the wool traditionalist, that the language is really not so far removed from the Latin. There are somewhat pungent harmonies in places, but these should present no difficulty to an experienced choir; whilst even a less experience one should be able, with a little work and patience, to take on the piece successfully. The setting is suitable for church or concert/platform use. It is free to copy and use. However, I would count it a courtesy if those who decide to take it on would let me know how they feel about it; the choir’s and the audiences’ responses, and details of when and where performed. This is for my portfolio and to satisfy a natural desire to know how my work fares after is has been launched into the choral world. Although the piece is free to copy and use, I retain copyright.
