Latin text Beatus Andreas expansis manibus ad coelum orabat dicens: “Salva me, bona crux, ut per te me recipiat qui per te me redemit.”

English translation Blessed Andrew, with hands outstretched to heaven, prayed, saying: “Save me, O good cross, that through you He may receive me who through you has redeemed me.”
