Blow, ye balmy breezes, blow
O’er the meadows, and the sea;
Cruel Winter now has gone,
Joyous Spring-time comes along,
Ev’ry bird tells out its song,
And buds salute the day.

Blow, ye balmy breezes, blow
O’er each fragrant hill and vale;
On the trees the leaves appear,
Telling us that Spring is here,
And the woodlands far and near
Resound with melody.
