Bow down Thine ear, O Lord,
and hear me, for I am poor and in misery.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I do put my trust in Thee.

For Thou, O Lord, art good and gracious,
Of great mercy unto all,
Of great and tender mercy to all,
to all that call upon Thee in truth.
