Deus, in adjutorium meum intende;
Domine, ad adjuvandum me festina.
Confundantur et revereantur qui quaerunt animam meam;
avertantur retrorsum, et erubescant qui volunt mihi mala;
avertantur statim erubescentes, qui dicunt mihi: Euge, euge.

Salvum me fac, Domine, quoniam defecit sanctus,
quoniam diminutae sunt veritates a filiis hominum.
Vana locuti sunt unusquisque ad proximum suum:
labia dolosa, in corde et corde locuti sunt.
Disperdat Dominus universa labia dolosa,
et linguam magniloquam.

Haste thee, O God, to deliver me:
make haste to help me, O Lord.
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul:
let them be turned backward and put to confusion that wish me evil.
Let them for their reward be soon brought to shame: that cry over me, There, there.

Help me, Lord, for there is not one godly man left
for the faithful are minished from among the children of men,
They talk of vanity every one with his neighbour:
they do but flatter with their lips, and dissemble in their double heart.
The Lord shall root out all deceitful lips,
and the tongue that speaketh proud things.
