Italian text Donne leggiadre che gran vogl’havete Di macinar formenti et formentate, Noi siamo molinar’ e voi havrete ogni cosa da noi che desiate. Vé lo metremo su che voi vedrete, e poi macinarem tutt’a gorgiate, Ne vi pensate ch’il molin v’incresca, ch’insieme cantarem su l’herba fresca.

German translation Hübsche Damen, die ihr sehnlich wünscht Weizen oder Mischgetreide1 zu mahlen, wir sind Müller, und ihr könnt haben alles von uns, was ihr wünscht; wir legen es euch drauf, damit ihr seht, und dann mahlen wir alles auf einmal.
