Latin text Dulcia coniugii paradisi sanxit in horto foedera cuncti potens et sine fine Deus. Haec quoque muneribus decoravit Christus opimis, fecit ut ex liquido dulce liquore merum. Ergo placent taedae tibi Christe benigne iugales, et vis nos casta fundere mente preces.

German translation Süße Bande heiligte im Garten des ehelichen Paradieses der allmächtige und grenzenlose Gott, auch stattete sie Christus mit reichen Gaben aus, er machte aus Wasser süßen Wein. Daher gefallen dir, gütiger Christus, die Hochzeitsfackeln, und willst du, dass wir fromme Gebete aus unserem Geist ausgießen. Translation by Gerhard Weydt
