Latin.png Latin text

Ecce virgo prudens migravit ad Christum,
fulgens inter choros virginum sicut sol
in virtute caelesti.
Pulchra facie, sed pulchrior fide:
beata es, virgo, respuens mundum;
laetaberis cum angelis.

English.png English translation

Behold, the prudent virgin has departed to Christ,
shining among the choirs of virgins like the sun
in heavenly glory.
Beautiful in face, but more beautiful in faith:
blessed are you, virgin, who spurned the world;
you shall rejoice with the angels.
