Latin.png Latin text

Flos de virga nascitur, sol de radio,
radius incenditur sole previo,
In misterio virge virgo panditur flos in filio.
O que compassio,
O quanta miseratio!
Pro remedio nostro
clauditur, fusus matris gremio
Qui non circumscribitur orbis spacio.

English.png English translation

The flower is born from the branch, the sun from a beam of light,
The beam set alight by the sun that precedes it.
In mystery a virgin branch reveals its flower in form of the Son.
Oh what compassion,
Oh what mercy!
For our healing,
confined and cast within a mother's womb,
is not bound by the space of the world.
