Latin text Homo quidam descendébat ab Ierúsalem in Iérico, et íncidit in latrónes: qui étiam despoliavérunt éum, et plágis impósitis abiérunt, sémivívo relícto.

German translation Ein Mensch ging von Jerusalem nach Jericho hinab und fiel unter die Räuber: die raubten ihn auch aus und nachdem sie ihm Wunden zugefügt hatten, gingen sie weg, indem sie ihn halbtot zurückließen.
