Iesus dulcedo cordium,
fons veri lumen mentium,
excedens omne gaudium
et omne desiderium.

Iesus sole lucidor,
et balsamo suavior,
omni dulcore dulcior,
et cunctis amabilior.

Iesus decus Angelicum,
in aure dulce canticum,
in ore mel mersicum,
in corde nectar celicum.

Bonum mihi digere,
Iesum vitra non querere,
mihi prorsus deficere,
ut illi queam vivere.

Amor Iesu me afficit,
in hunc mens mea deficit,
solus amanti sufficit.

O beatum incendium,
ardens desiderium,
o dulce refrigerium,
amare Dei filium.

Hic amor ardet dulciter,
dulcescit mirabiliter,
sapit delectabiliter,
et delectat feliciter.

Quam grata, quam vernantia,
quam mellita, quam fulgida
sunt Christi Iesu vulnera,
hunc decet laus per secula.
