Latin text In me transierunt irae tuae, et terrores tui conturbaverunt me, cor meum conturbatum est, dereliquit me virtus mea, dolor meus in conspectu meo semper: ne derelinquas me, Domine, Deus meus, ne discesseris a me.

English translation Your wrath swept over me, and your terrors have destroyed me. My heart pounds, my strength fails me, my pain is ever with me. Do not forsake me, o Lord, my God, be not far away from me.

This text combines quotations from psalm 38 and 88.
