Biography

John Hare Walker was born in Lichfield, Staffordshire, England. He became a skilled organist and was organist and music-master at Rugby School, Warwickshire. He died in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. His published works were compilations of hymns and other music for use at Rugby School, songs, and part-songs. His son Reginald Henry Walker became a composer.
