Biography

Matthew Kingston was born in Birmingham, England, and trained at Lichfield Cathedral. He was organist of the Richmond Hill Congregational Church, Bournemouth; Bury St. Edmunds Parish Church; Romford Parish Church; St. Mary’s, Shortlands; and St. Luke’s, Hampstead. He also served as borough organist of Bournemouth. He died in London. His compositions include anthems, service music, and a few part-songs and songs.
