Description: The cleffing and the actual range of the voices do not correspond. The cleffing is: C2, C3, C3, C4, F4. The Cantus (C2) and Altus (C3) has exactly the same range, the two voices in C3 clef have different ranges, whereas the Tenor (C3) and Quintus (C4) have almost the same range. Since the highest note of the Cantus is only a', but goes down to g, we put all the four upper voices in transposed violin clef.

Mentre da voi quell' una donna lontana stassi?
Cor mio d'ogni amorosa altra mercede
Da te scacci ogni speme,
