Latin.png Latin text

Qui me confessus fuerit coram hominibus,
confitebor et ego eum coram Patre meo.
Qui sequitur me non ambulat in tenebris,
sed habebit lumen vitae, dicit Dominus.

Qui vult venire post me, abneget semetipsum,
et tollat crucem suam, et sequatur me, dicit Dominus.

English.png English translation

Whoever shall confess me before men,
I also will confess him before my Father.
Whoever follows me does not walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life, says the Lord.

Whoever wishes to come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross, and follow me, says the Lord.
