Biography
Very little is known about Robert Keen. His birth and death dates are unknown. He was a contemporary acquaintance of John Rippon (1751-1836). The consensus seems to be that he apparently wrote (or contributed significantly to) three hymns attributed to "K.___" and published in John Rippon's A Selection of Hymns From the Best Authors, 1787.
- Exceeding great and precious promises, which begins "How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord."
