Latin.png Latin text

Salve mater Salvatoris, mater salutifera,
spes Maria peccatoris, virgo et puerpera.
Salve rosa sine spina, salve Jesse virgula,
cuius fructus nostri luctus relaxavit crimina.
Virga rubi appelaris, fics fenestra janua,
mater Dei, lux solaris,
Jesse stirps Davitica.
Digna nobis interpella
pro indignis, Maria.
Prece tua ut ad sua.
Nos ducat palatia.

English.png English text

Hail, mother of the Saviour, mother bringing salvation,
Mary, hope of the sinner, virgin and childbearer.
Hail thornless rose, hail Jesse's rod,
the fruit of which relieved the burdens of our sorrows.
you are called the rod of the bush, you create a window and a door,
mother of God, solar light,
from the Davidic branch of Jesse.
You are worthy to intervene
for us unworthy, Maria.
Add your prayer to ours.
Lead us to the palace.
