Latin.png Latin text

Sancta Dei genitrix,
virgo semper Maria,
per te venit ad nos salus,
per te redemptio nostra.
Tu pulchra es inter mulieres.
Intercede pro nobis ad dominum Jesum Christum.

Haec est regina virginum
quae genuit regem caelorum,
velut rosa decora, alma virgo Maria,
cuius assumptionem celebramus.
Intercede pro nobis ad dominum Jesum Christum.

Holy mother of God,
Mary, you who remained a virgin:
salvation, and our redemption,
came to us through you.
You are beautiful among women.
Pray for us to the lord Jesus Christ.

This is the queen of virgins,
who gave birth to the king of Heaven,
beautiful as a rose, kind virgin Mary,
whose assumption we are celebrating.
Pray for us to the lord Jesus Christ.
