Sidus ex claro veniens Olympo
Virgo quod nobis peperit sacrata,
orbis illustrat spatium rotundi
  nobile lumen.

Protulit nobis mulier salutem
Filium summi Patris ediditque
et Deum mater genuit pudica
  virgo manensque.

Qui maris, terrae, hominum ac deorum
temperat laxatque datas habenas
quo nihil majus generatur ipso
  nascitur orbi.

Illius laudes pueri sonabunt,
carminum nostrum moduli suaves,
vocibus laetis feriamus astra
  rosida caeli.
