Subsannatores subsannabit Deus.
Deus, in adjutorium meum intende; Domine, ad adjuvandum me festina.

Deus meus, in auxilium meum respice.

English.png English translation

God will mock the mockers.
O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.
Let those who seek my life be confounded and put to shame; let those who desire evil for me be turned back and blush.

My God, look upon me to help me.
Let those who slander my soul be confounded and fail; let those who seek evil for me be clothed with confusion and shame.

But I will always hope, and I will add to all your praise.
My lips shall exult when I sing to you, and my soul, which you have redeemed.

And my tongue shall meditate on your righteousness all the day long, when those who seek evil for me are confounded and brought to reverence.

Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, because you, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
