Description: A “sequentia” for the Ascension transcribed from the Trent manuscripts tr89. The time signatures, notes’ values and colourings are as in the manuscript, the coloured notes are in “proportio sesquialtera” (3 vs. 2). Only the “a” part (see the text section below) of the verses have the polyphonic setting, for the first, last and “b” part of the verses the Gregorian melody is to be used. The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows: the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves, th right downstemmed notes are longæ. The “musica ficta” suggestions are in the MIDI and the MusicXML files.
