Verse 2, penultimate bar: The top F on the word 'break' should be natural. Jason Smart (talk) 13:55, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

There's no natural in the source, although these editions of catches and drinking songs were not always well proofread.Triplex (talk) 14:10, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

The Gregg Press facsimile of his "The Catch Club" certainly shows a natural to this note and it doesn't appear to be a manuscript addition. Did Walsh make stop press corrections to his publications? Jason Smart (talk) 14:33, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

OK, so after a little digging I see that there are several quite different publications entitled "The Catch Club". The Gregg Press reprint seems to be reproduction of the collection prepared by Lampe and published by Walsh in 1765 or thereabouts (though it appears to be a later print than the one in the British Library). IMSLP has your version without the natural. I have removed the error legend, though I still think that the natural is more characteristic of Purcell. Jason Smart (talk) 15:08, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
