This template is to request that 2 or more pages be merged. Place this template at the top of the page that you consider should be deleted after merger, and do not remove any text from the page. It should be used in conjunction with template {{mergefrom}}. If you're not sure which of the pages should be kept, use the neutral template {{merge}} instead.
Syntax:
- {{mergeto|<page to remain after merger>}}
- where <page to remain after merger> is the exact title of the other page with which the first page should be merged.
Pages thus marked appear in category Merge requests for Sysops and other experienced users to consider and merge if appropriate. All discussion about the merger should only occur on the talk page linked to from this template.
