Now morning advances, looks over the hills,
Her radiance glancing o’er valleys and hills,
Horns brightly are playing the call to depart,
The coursers are neighing now, onward the start!

Away, away,
Yo! ho! Yo! ho!
O’er valley and glen
Now dashing again.
Away to the mountains,
The sound of the horn
awakes the glad morn,
Through forest and valley,
o’er mountain and glen,
Now list to the sound
of hunter and hound,
The huntsman is happy today!

Now farther and farther as onward they bound,
The woodland and valley reechoes the sound,
Like gales o’er the heather they sportively play,
Hearts bounding together while steeds fly away.
