Aspice Domine 1529 - Two of them?

Hello,

It seems that there are two pages for the same work, both published in Motetz nouvellement composez (Pierre Attaingnant), no. 2:

• Aspice Domine - Plorans ploravit (Claudin de Sermisy)
• Aspice Domine quia facta est (Jean de La Fage)

You were the editor for both of these, and the music and words are the same at the top of both pdfs. IMSLP attributes this work to La Fage, but you obviously know more about this publication and this work than I do. The two pages should be merged under one of these composers, but which one? I'm not sure whether the two CPDL entries (80519 and 80438) should remain separate on the page after the merger? The Sermisy one (CPDL 80519) is slightly larger. The two pages have been merged under Aspice Domine - Plorans ploravit (Claudin de Sermisy), and a Redirect to it left on Aspice Domine quia facta est (Jean de La Fage). — Barry Johnston (talk) 04:36, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
