General information

Viderunt omnes fines terrae salutare Dei nostri from Psalm 97 (98) is the Communion for 3rd Mass of Christmas. With the addition of Jubilate Deo omnis terra and the verse "Notum fecit" it is also used as the Gradual at the same Mass.

Latin text 97:3b  Viderunt omnes fines terrae salutare Dei nostri. 97:4a  Jubilate Deo omnis terra: 92:2  Notum fecit Dominus salutare suum: ante conspectum gentium revelavit justitiam suam, Alleluia.

Spanish translation Los confines de la tierra han contemplado la victoria de nuestro Dios: Aclama a Dios toda la tierra. El Señor ha dado a conocer tu salvación: a la vista de las naciones ha revelado su justicia.

English translation 98:4b  All the ends of the world have seen the salvation of our God. 98:5a  Shew yourselves joyful unto the Lord, all ye lands: 98:3  The Lord declared his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
