Slovenian text Vse najlepše rožice, naj bo, so z moj'ga srca strgane, naj bo. Mene pa srce boli, naj bo, od prevelike žalosti, naj bo. Dekle me pustila je, naj bo, si druz'ga fanta zbrala je, naj bo.

English translation All the most beautiful flowers, let it be, are torn from my heart, let it be. My heart now hurts, let it be, because of too much sadness, let it be. My girl left me, let it be, she chose another boy, let it be.
