Westron wynde

Westron winde or Western wind is an English (middle english?) song known from an early 16c source (BL Royal Appendix MS 58). Several variants of the tune are used in 3 cantus firmus masses:

• Mass: The Western Wind (John Sheppard)
• The Western Wind Mass (John Taverner)
• Mass The Western Wynde (Christopher Tye)
