1. Ach Gott dein arme Christenheit
jetzt allenthalb Verfolgung leid/
sie wird geprest/ geängst so sehr/
sie kans fast nicht ertragen mehr.
2. Die Feinde toben gwaltiglich/
mit morden/brennen grausamlich/
es wird verheert alls mit Gewalt/
man schonet weder jung odr alt.
3.Es ust zwar unser Sünden Schuld/
doch hab O lieber Gott Gedult/
mit uns elenden Würmelein/
schon unser armen Kinderlein.
4. HErr JEsu thu bey uns das bbest/
treib von uns solche frembde Gäst/
den Türcken und all andre Feind/
die deinem Wort zu wider seynd.
5. Damit ferner dein liebes Wort/
in Fried und Ruh an diesem Ort/
rein unverfälscht gepredigt werd/
so lang wir noch leben auff Erd.
6. Ach du hertzlebster JESU Christ/
weil alles uffs höchste kommen ist/
und allen Leuten ist sehr bang/
so bleib nun aussen nicht mehr lang.
7. Mit deinem lieben Jüngsten Tag/
da wird auffhören alle Klag/
und wird allr Gläubign Hertzeleid/
verkehret werdn in ewig Frewd.
