Life

Born: 22 December 1966

Biography

Jayme Amatnecks is a cum laude graduate of ESMARGS - Brazil where he received both his Bachelor of Music Ed. While at Rio Grande do Sul, he studied choral music with the late Hans Rottman and composition with Hans-Joachim Koelreuter. Amatnecks has been composing since age 18 and has many works in print. His compositions have been performed by the Camerata Ars Musica, the Coral de São Domingos of Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal, conducted by João Luís Nabo, and the Consort Chorale of San Anselmo, CA, under the direction of Robert Allan Petker. His work has also been featured by the Choir of Camerata Ars Musica, the University of Mississippi Concert Singers, and the Arkansas Tech University Chamber Choir. His latest work is published by ARCO Ed. Publishing of Curitiba, Brazil. Amatnecks teaches at Universidade Potiguar in Natal, Brazil. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (BSCAP) from whom he has received several awards.
