Description: Orlando di Lasso's 5th and last book of madrigals for 5 voices. The closing piece of the first edition, Come la cera al foco, is a 6-voice canon, not a madrigal.
First {{Published}} is obsolete (code commented out), replaced with {{Pub}} for works and {{PubDatePlace}} for publications., Noribergae: Catharinae Gerlachiae.
Known editions: 2. The second edition appends five extra works to the first.
- 1585 - Madrigali: novamente composti a cinque voci: per Orlando Lasso: mastro di capella: del serenissimo duca di Bavera (sic). Cum gratia et privilegio imperiali. Norimbergae: in officina typographica Catharinae Gerlachiae. 1585.
- 1587 - Di Orlando Lasso maestro di capella del sereniss. duca di Bavera (sic), Libro Quinto de Madrigali a cinque voci. Novamente composti, et dati in luce. In Venetia appresso Angelo Gardano. 1587.
