Description: This anthem, by John Alcock the younger, was published on pp13-16 of his Parochial Harmony, London: 1777.
An instrumental bass part to the anthem, transposed down a semitone into D major, appears in the manuscript book of Henry Gillett, of South Petherton, Somerset (Somerset Archives: DD\X\CHP/6), where it is titled 'Anthem 84 Psm Alcock'.
