Biography

Peter Macintosh is the pseudonym of Fraser Wilson used for liturgical composition.

Fraser Wilson has held church appointments in the east of England, in St Andrews, and in Sheffield, and he now lives and works in Dublin.

Fraser is an active composer, and he has had choral works commissioned and premièred by numerous choirs and individuals. His continually expanding catalogue of compositions includes many works for the church and a smaller number for the concert hall. Among his most recently completed works are a series of songs for soprano and piano and a dramatic setting of the Reproaches for the Good Friday liturgy. He is currently working on the final movement of his Concerto for piano and string orchestra. You may view some sample pages of his setting of the Reproaches and other works at Fraser's website.
