Full Title: Sesieme livre de chansons a quatre et cinc parties par Orlande de Lassus et autres autheurs
Description: Le Roy and Ballard's sixteenth collection of chansons. This volume contains works by Orlando di Lasso (three quarters of the items) and other Franco-Flemish composers, in Latin and French, for four or five voices. This collection was reprinted in 1567, 1570, 1573, 1575, 1578, and 1579. In 1584, a new edition was issued with the two Costeley works replaced by a chanson by Lasso and a madrigal by Cipriano de Rore, as well as a renumbering of the remaining works. This edition was reprinted in 1591.
