:::If it was published in 1910 and renewed in 1928 as indicated, then the calculation by Carlos makes sense to me. Regardless of whether it was renewed in 1928 for 47+20 years or renewed in 1938 for the same durations, it sounds like it would still be out of copyright under U.S.A. law (see, e.g. http://copyright.cornell.edu/resources/publicdomain.cfm), and therefore something CPDL can continue hosting. -- [[User:Vaarky|Vaarky]] 16:40, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

H Walford Davies died in 1944, I believe. His music therefore remains copyright in the EU and elsewhere until 1st January 2012.

Having said that, "God be in my head" is in several hymn books and action against infringers would probably not be taken.

Published 1910. US Copyright renewed 1928 for 47 yrs. Copyright law in US gave automatic 20 yr extension: 47 + 20 = 67; + 1938, Public Domain in USA in 2005. -Paul Marchesano Marchesa 07:26, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

If it was published in 1910 and renewed in 1928 as indicated, then the calculation by Carlos makes sense to me.
