2. The earth celebrates the excess of spring, | |||
the stars fling out silver and gold for new rings, | |||
the cosmos refashions immutable laws, | |||
as quasars and quarks flash delighted applause. | |||

the praise the Beloved, God's partner of choice. | |||
But praise becomes wonder -- we learn it is we | |||
the Holy has chosen as partner-to-be. | |||

Invite and cajole them, encourage and prod -- | |||
