Latin text Adonay sanctissime Domine Deus omnipotens, exaudi preces servorum tuorum et da nobis locutionem pænitentiae, et ne claudas ora canentium te Domine.

English translation O holiest Adonai, Lord God omnipotent, hear the prayers of Thy servants and give us the speech of contrition, and close not the mouths of those who sing to you, O Lord.
