Biography
Almond Woolf (of Redruth, Cornwall) was the composer of a collection of psalmody, An Original Set of Psalm and Hymn Tunes. This book was published at Redruth in 1836, being 'printed and sold for the author by Francis Symons', and was dedicated by Woolf to the Rev. John Webster Hawkesley, rector of the parish of Redruth.
Additionally, one carol, Arise and sing, dispel your fears, was published by R. H. Heath in his Cornish Carols, Part I, Truro: (1889), with the attribution 'A. Woolf'.
