Spanish text ¡Ay! linda amiga que no vuelvo a verte, cuerpo garrido que me lleva la muerte. Noy hay amor sin pena, pena sin dolor, ni dolor tan agudo como el del amor. Levanteme madre al salir el sol, fui por los campos verdes a buscar mi amor.

Italian translation Ahi bella amica, non riesco a vederti, bel corpo che mi porta la morte. Non c'è amore senza pena, pena senza dolore, né dolore tanto acuto come quello dell'amore. Svegliami madre al salire del sole, sono stato nei campi verdi a cercare il mio amore.

French translation Ô belle amie, que je ne reverrai plus, corps sublime qui me mène à la mort. Il n'y a pas d'amour sans peine, de peine sans douleur, de douleur plus aiguë que celle de l'amour. Réveille-moi mère au lever du soleil, Je fus par les verts champs pour chercher mon amour.
