Genre: Sacred, Communion Service

Description: Stanford's Communion setting, part of his Morning, Evening and Communion Service in G major, Op.81, originally included the following movements:
- Kyrie (decalogue responses)
- Gospel responses
- Credo
- Sursum corda
- Sanctus
- Gloria
In common with his other Communion settings, as he was writing for the Book of Common Prayer liturgy, Stanford did not set the Kyrie, Benedictus or Agnus Dei. A few years later, in response to changing liturgical trends, he wrote the Benedictus and Agnus Dei in B flat to complement this setting.
