French text Cuidez vous que Dieu nous faille pour despendre largement, il a plus qu'il ne nous baille, et nous a mis tout en taille jusqu'au jour de jugement, compaignons ne vous en chaille, le terme vault bien l'argent.

English translation Do you think that God faults us for spending lavishly? There is much more to worry about than that for which he takes us to task until the day of jugement. Friends, let it not matter to you; The goal is well worth the cost.
