Cum esset Stephanus plenus Spiritu Sancto,
intendens in coelum vidit gloriam Dei et ait:
Ecce video coelos apertos et Filium hominis stantem a dextris virtutis Dei.

When Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit,
looking intently into heaven, he saw the glory of God and said:
Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of the power of God.
