Latin text 6:10  Descendi in hortum nucum[meum], ut viderem poma convallium, et inspicerem si floruisset vinea, et germinassent mala punica. 6:12  Revertere, revertere, Sulamitis, ut intueamur te. German translation 6:10  Ich stieg in meinen Garten hinab, damit ich die Baumfrüchte der Talniederungen sähe, und nachsähe, ob der Weinberg geblüht hätte, und die Granatäpfel gesproßt hätten. 6:12  Dreh dich um, dreh dich um, Sulamit, damit wir dich betrachten.

English translation 6:10  I went down into the nut[my] garden to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished and the pomegranates budded. 6:12  Return, return, O Shulamite, that we might look upon thee.
