Latin text Dicite in gentibus quia Dominus regnavit a ligno. Dulce lignum, dulces clavos, dulcia ferens pondera, quæ sola fuisti digna sustinere Regem cælorum et Dominum

English translation Say ye among the Gentiles, the Lord hath reigned from the wood. Sweet the wood, sweet the nails, sweet the weight, and you alone were worthy to bear the Lord, the King of heaven is at hand
