Biography
Edward Cutler was born in London, England. He was a barrister by profession and an amateur musician. He was an expert on musical copyright and collaborated with dramatist F. E. Weatherly on publishing a treatise on Musical and Dramatic Copyright (1890). An organist, he, at one time, was ‘Grand Organist’ for the English Freemasons. He composed many songs, pieces for full orchestra, piano pieces, anthems, and chant.
