Homo quidam fecit coenam magnam,
et misit servum suum hora coenae
dicere invitatis ut venirent:
quia parata sunt
(omnibus firmiter credentibus cibaria vitae conferentia, angelica caelicaque gaudia)
omnia.

Venite, comedite panem meum,
et bibite vinum quod miscui vobis.

English.png English translation

A certain man made a great supper,
and sent his servant at the hour of the supper
to say to those who had been invited,
that they should come:
because all things are ready
(for all who truly believe, nourishment of life is offered, bringing angelic and heavenly joys).

Come, eat my bread,
and drink the wine I have mixed for you.
