Ich danke dir, o Gott, in deinem Throne,
durch Jesum Christum, deinen lieben Sohne,
dass du mich hast in dieser Nacht bewahret
vor Schaden und vor mancherlei Gefahren,
und bitte dich, wollst mich an diesem Tage
behüten auch vor Sünden, Schand’ und Plage.
