German text Ich freue mich auf meinen Tod, Ach, haett' er sich schon eingefunden. Da entkomm ich aller Not, Die mich noch auf der Welt gebunden.

English translation All joyous I, this day to die, ah, tarry not, death, and find me. For with thee would I now go, leaving this world of woe behind me.
